The first step is to fire up the gas grill, and pre-heat to medium high heat. Chop onions to medium to large chunks or strips. Chop or slice garlic cloves. There is no need to mince the garlic. Lay out an ample section of aluminum foil. You are going to end up with a pouch, but lay it flat for now. Spread a small amount of olive oil on the foil. Lay out the frozen chicken tenderloins on one-half of the foil sheet. Cover with onions and garlic. Add salt and pepper to taste. Dribble a small amount of olive oil on top. Fold the remaining half of foil over top and carefully seal the edges by making tight multiple folds along each edge. You want this pouch to be as tight as possible so that you maximize the steaming effect within the pouch. Cook on medium high grill for 15 to 20 minutes. The chicken will come out moist and tender, and the onions will be sweet. Add your fresh garden salad and you have a well-rounded, easy healthy meal! |
